A FANTASTIC ONE WHOLE WEEK LASTING PARTY. WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR A WHOLE YEAR, EAGER TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE TO IMPROVE THE PREVIOUS RESULTS.
AND WE DID IT.
WHILE WHEN LOOKING AT THE BARE RNKING, IT MIGHT APPEAR NOT TOO SATISFYING, THE STAR OF WINGED LION FINISHED WITHIN THE BEST 30% BOATS OVERALL, WHICH, CONSIDERING THE LEVEL OF THE COMPETITION, IS A FANTASTIC RESULT.
AND NOW THIS:
AFTER A SIMPLE TIME TO DISTANCE HANDICAP CALCULATION ACCORDING TO AVAILABLE ORC RATING CERTIFICATES, THE STAR OF WINGED LION FINISHED ONLY 35 MIN AFTER THE FASTEST TP52 YACHTS, WHICH BALANCED INTO THE AVERAGE OF THE RACE, IT MEANS AN ORC HANDICAP OVERALL RANKING OF

OR, WITHIN THE TOP 12% OF ALL COMPETING YACHTS, INCLUDING SOME OF THE MOST SOPHISTICATED RACING VESSELS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN AND THE WORLD. AN EXCELLENT RESULT!

The BARCOLANA is a historic international sailing regatta taking place every year in the Gulf of Trieste on the second Sunday of October. The Barcolana is one of the most crowded regattas in the world, which draw in record number of participants – 1968 - in 2002, being a unique event on the international sailing stage.
The STAR OF WINGED LION, designed as a cruiser and racer at the same time, is in best condition to challenge the 2018 Barcolana regatta, taking place on October 14, 2018 in Trieste, Italy. We will be racing for the Category 2, All Cruisers Category, Category 2 Cruiser, and of course All Vessels, competing against more than 2000 yachts.

TEAM AND CREW KICKOFF MEETING
The Team and Crew Kickoff Meeting took place on 07. September 2018. The Venue will be the Aquarium Bar, Winterthur, starting from 1900. Further infos and documents will follow after the meeting! Including all technical improvements and more!
