THE BARCOLANA CHALLENGE
The BARCOLANA is a historic international sailing regatta taking place every year in the Gulf of Trieste on the second Sunday of October. The Barcolana is one of the most crowded regattas in the world, which draw in record number of participants – 1968 - in 2002, being a unique event on the international sailing stage.
The STAR OF WINGED LION, designed as a cruiser and racer at the same time, is in best condition to challenge the 2017 Barcolana regatta, taking place on October 8, 2017 in Trieste, Italy. We will be racing for the Category 2, All Cruisers Category, Category 2 Cruiser, and of course All Vessels, competing against more than 1700 yachts.
